This industry watchdog move was a long time coming and long overdue. The Black Fashion Council is a leadership founded by Lindsay Peoples Wagner and Sandrine Charles and will partner with companies to advance Black professionals and release a yearly index score that measures diversity and I am all here for it. The organization compromised of more than 400 Black editors, models, stylists and executives is looking to harness the current moment to address systemic racism and discrimination in the fashion and beauty industries and is officially set to launch in July. This is a watershed moment of ATONEMENT as the fashion world is guilty as sin of benign neglect and excluding the visibility and the diverse narratives that make fashion a reflection of inclusion.| LPR
